Hard green unripe mangoes | ||
SAUCE PIQUANTE | ||
1 | c | Cold water |
2 | Garlic cloves; crushed | |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
Freshly ground pepper | ||
1 | Fresh hot green chili finely chopped more to taste | |
1/4 | c | Lime juice |
Peel the mango and cut it into thin slices. Marinate it in the hot sauce for at least 10 minutes, longer if desired. The longer you marinate the mango, the hotter it will be. This is traditionally eaten by hand.
