2 | lg | Oranges |
2 | lg | Lemons |
4 | oz | Castor sugar |
1/8 | pt | Water |
1/2 | pt | Rum |
1 | lg | Bottle of Rose wine |
Peel long, thin rinds from the fruit. Squeeze the juice from all fruits and strain into a saucepan. Add the water and sugar and stir well. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes, until syrup is reduced by half.
Cool thoroughly and then pour into a punch bowl. Add the wine, rum and fruit rinds. Stir well and serve.
