Title: Seafood Gumbo

Yield: 4 Servings
2 | tb | Butter |
1 | Onion, chopped | |
1/4 | c | Flour |
5 | c | Fish stock |
1 1/2 | c | Shelled tiger shrimps |
1 1/2 | c | White crabmeat |
8 | oz | Scallops |
Tabasco, to taste | ||
2 | Chorizo sausages, sliced | |
1 | tb | Chipped fresh dill |
Grated zest and juice of 1 lime | ||
8 | oz | Mussels, scrubbed |
1 1/2 | c | Long-grain white rice |
Melt the butter in a pan. Add the onion, and saute for 5 minutes. Then, stir in the flour, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat, and stir in the stock. Return to the heat, and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Add the shrimps, crab, scallops, Tabasco, sausage, dill, lime juice and zest. Cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the prepared mussels, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil the rice in a separate pan for 10 to 12 minutes, then spoon into a serving bowl. Top with the seafood gumbo and serve.
