1 | Bread; round, hollowed out, | |
2 | pk | Spinach; frozen, chopped |
1 | c | Dairy sour cream |
1/2 | c | Plain yogurt |
1/2 | c | Finely chopped fresh parsley |
1/4 | c | Chopped green onions |
1 | ts | Salt |
Fresh ground pepper to taste | ||
1/4 | ts | Nutmeg; ground |
1/8 | ts | Cayenne; ground |
Cut 2" slice off top of round bread loaf. Remove center portion, leaving at least 2" of bread on the bottom and 1" on the sides.
Microwave spinach on High 5-8 minutes or till warm. Drain spinach, pressing to remove excess moisture. In medium bowl, mix in spinach and remaining ingredients. Spoon spinach mixture into hollowed out bread loaf.
