Title: Hot & Spicy Crab & Shrimp Soup

1/8lbButter (1/2 stick)
2lgOnions, chopped
2 Garlic, cloves, crushed
1tsTabasco
1/2tsCayenne pepper
1/3cChopped parsley
1 Bay leaf
20ozWine, white zinfandel
2cnBroth, chicken
1/2lbCrab, canned, claw meat
1/2lbShrimp, small, "popcorn" - sized, fresh or frozen

In a large pot melt butter. Stir in onion, garlic, and cook over medium heat (uncovered) until onion is soft.

Stir in tabasco, cayenne, parsley, bay leaf, broth and wine then heat until the mixture is simmering.

Add shrimp (if frozen, wait for mixture to begin simmering again before adding the canned, or fresh cooked crab) then cover and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat until shrimp and crab is thoroughly heated.
