1 | lb | Peeled & deveined shrimp |
1/2 | c | Finely chopped onion |
1/4 | c | Margarine or butter |
1 | c | Sliced fresh mushrooms OR |
1 | cn | Sliced fresh mushrooms |
1 | tb | Flour |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 | ds | Cayenne pepper |
1 1/2 | c | Hot cooked rice |
Saute shrimp and onion in margarine for 5 minutes or until shrimp are
tender. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more. Sprinkle in
flour, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream and cook gently for 10 minutes,
being careful not to boil mixture. Serve over rice.
