8 | lb | Chuck steak 1" thick |
4 | ts | Oregano |
Cut into serving pieces | ||
Pepper & salt to taste | ||
4 | pk | Onion soup mix |
8 | tb | Cooking oil |
4 | cn | Italian tomatoes |
8 | ts | Red wine vinegar |
In large skillet, arrange meat, cover with onion soup mix, add tomatoes, sprinkle with oregano, garlic, pepper, oil and vinegar. Simmer covered 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. This dish can also be cooked in the crockpot. Simmer 3-4 hours.
