Title: Deviled Nuts

1/2 | c | Butter, melted |
2 | tb | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | ts | Tabasco sauce |
1 | ts | Onion juice |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Cayenne pepper |
1 | lg | Clove garlic, peeled and crushed |
1 | lb | Shelled roasted pecan halves |
1 | lb | Shelled roasted peanuts (unsalted) |
Mix together all but the nuts. Cover and let stand at room temperature for one hour.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Remove the garlic cloves from the mixture with the strainer. Add the nuts to the liquid and toss and coat them well. Place them on a large baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring twice to brown all sides.
Place the nuts on paper towl to drain and cool. Store up to 3 weeks in a tightly covered container.
