2 | tb | Bacon drippings |
2 | tb | Minced onion |
2 | tb | Peanut butter |
1 | c | Milk |
1 | qt | Chopped cooked potatoes |
1 | c | Chopped celery |
1 | c | Broken nut meats |
1 | Shredded green pepper | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Put the drippings in a frying pan. Add the minced onion, and fry until it is a deep yellow. Add your peanut butter and milk next, stirring constantly, until everything comes to a boil. Add the potatoes, celery, nut meats, and green pepper, and season them with the salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Cook for about half an hour over a low flame and stir occasionally. Serve hot.
