Title: Whipped Potatoes and Turnips

Yield: 4 Servings

1lbPeeled, thin sliced turnips
1lbPeeled, thin sliced potatoes
1/2tsSugar
  Pinch nutmeg
1/2 Stick butter or margarine
1/2tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
2tbLight cream or milk
1tbMinced fresh parsley

Cover turnips and potatoes with water, add sugar, and boil for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain thoroughly, pressing excess moisture out with wooden spoon. Add all remaining ingredients except parsley and mash and whip with a large fork or a small electric beater. Turn into heated serving bowl and sprinkle with parsley. Serves 4-6.

Serve with: all forms of game.
