Title: Zucchini W/ Bacon & Cheese

4 | Fresh zucchini, 4" long each | |
4 | Bacon slices, halved | |
1 | c | Grated cheddar cheese |
Fresh ground pepper to taste | ||
Chopped fresh parsley, for | ||

Preheat the broiler and place a broiling pan 7" from the heat source. Split the unpeeled succhini lengthwise and sprinkle the cut survaces generously with pepper. Place the zucchini on the heated pan and broil for 10 minutes. Place a bacon piece on each zucchini half and top generously with cheese. Broil approxiimately 5 minutes longer, or until the bacon is crisp and the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
