1 1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | Shortening |
1 | c | Sugar |
2 | | Eggs |
1 | ts | Vanilla |

Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt and set aside. Beat sugar and
shortening until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and
blend until well mixed. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place balls on cookie sheet
3 inches apart. Dip a glass in sugar and flatten the balls. Bake at 350
