1/4 | c | Fine dry bread crumbs |
1/2 | c | Milk |
1 | lb | Ground chuck |
2 | tb | Chili sauce |
1 | | Onion, finely chopped |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
3 | tb | Barbecue sauce |
Soak bread crumbs in milk. Add next 5 ingredients; mix well. Shape into
loaf in shallow pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 40 minutes;
drain. At this point you can freeze the loaf for later. If so, thaw, top
with barbecue sauce and finish baking at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
Otherwise, after draining, add barbecue sauce and bake 15 more minutes.
