4 | 5 oz chicken breasts halves skinned and boneless | |
2 | lg | Crushed cloves of garlic |
1 | md | Onion, chopped |
1/2 | c | Rice vinegar |
1/4 | c | Low sodium soy sauce |
2 | Bay leaves | |
1/4 | c | Water |
1 | ts | Sugar |
1/8 | ts | Fresh black pepper, ground |
1. Rinse chicken pieces and place in large pot. Add all other remaining ingredients, and pour over chicken to cover. Cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour or until the chicken is very tender. Remove the bay leaves and serve with a small amount of marinade.
