Hey, while over in Germany, they do a ham that is a sammich onto itself!! A
CH variation might go this way... Get a smallish ham, trimm almost all fat.
marinate in large bowl with a bottle of " DAGO RED" [ Never heardodat??]
your favorite spices and whatever rub/hab/sauce/etc. you so desire for at
least 24 hours. Puncture several thymes ( sorry!) and cover w/ plastic wrap
and frig. When you think it is ready, or cant stand lookin at theat ham, no
mo... make some bread dough. wrap it all around the ham. Put in oven and
bakea da bread! When all ready, thin slice. Yum! From:
