2 | lb | Diced vegetables |
1 | tb | Vegetable oil |
2 | tb | Flour |
1 | c | Water |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 | Diced onion | |
Salt & pepper to taste |
Salt and pepper meat and let stand for one hour. Brown onion in oil then brown meat on both sides. Add carrots, cover with boiling water and let cook for one hour. Add flour fradually; then water and sugar. Let cook for one more hour or until meat is tender and carrots are brown.
