1 Dozen ears corn

2tbMustard
1 Red sweet pepper
1smHead cabbage
1/2tsTurmeric
1/4cFlour
1 1/2cSugar
4cVinegar
1/4cSalt
2lgGreen peppers

Cut corn from cob. Chop peppers, cabbage, and onions. Mix thoroughly. Heat 2 cups vinegar to boiling. Add sugar, salt, mustard, flour, and turmeric which have been combined with 2 cups cold vinegar. Heat to boiling. Stir constantly until slightly thickened. Add chopped vegetables. Stir until well blended. Cook slowly 1/2 hour. Florence Taft Eaton, Concord, MA.
