2 | c | Milk |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Salt |
1 | Egg, well beaten | |
3 | c | Flour |
4 | ts | Baking powder |
Combine grapenuts, egg, and milk. Let stand 1/2 hour, add sugar. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (400 F) about 1 hour. 1 loaf. Mrs. George Hale, Geary, OK.
