Title: Tomball Refrigerator Pickles+

1 | lb | Cukes (about 1 large) |
1 | c | Cider vinegar |
3/4 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Sugar or the equivalent in |
Alternative -- sweeteners | ||
1 | ts | Pickling spice |
1 | ts | Onion flakes |
1 | Clove garlic -- cut | |

These may have been pickles that Mike made. Doris had given her the recipe because they have no salt in them.
Cut the cukes in 1/2" inch slices and then these pieces into quarters.
Bring water and vinegar just to a boil, pour over the cukes and spices. Place in a quart jar.
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
