This makes a six layer cake with applesauce between layers
Split into 6 balls and let stand for 5 mins.
Spread each ball in bottom of 8" cake pan. Bake at 350 deg for 15 mins. They will look like large cookies when cooked. Place first cookie on a cake platter Spread approx. 8 to 10 tbl spoons of sauce over first layer add next cookie and repeat for all layers. Do not cover top with applesauce. (gets whip cream later)
Cover with tight fitting cover. Store in refigerator for 3 days (This is the hard part)
After 3 days applesauce has soaked into cookie.
Spread top and sides with cool whip. Place cherrys or other fruit topping around top.
