Title: Southern Orange Pecan Pie

Yield: 1 9-inch pie
3 | lg | Eggs, slightly beaten |
1 | c | Lt.Karo corn syrup |
3/4 | c | Granulated sugar |
1 | tb | Fresh orange juice |
2 | tb | Grated orange rind |
2 | tb | Unsalted butter, melted |
1 | c | Pecans, coarsely chopped |
1 | Unbaked 9-inch pie shell |
To slightly beaten eggs... Add syrup, sugar, orange juice and rind. Stir in butter. Spread pecans over unbaked pie crust and slowly cover with sugar mixture, covering completely.
Bake approximately 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream which has been flavored with a dash of orange liquor.
