3/4	c	Butter
3/4	c	Margarine
1 1/2	c	Powdered sugar
2 2/3	c	Flour
1 1/2	ts	Vanilla
2	c	Crushed arare (Japanese rice
		Crackers)

Oven at 325 F. Cream together butter, margarine, and sugar. Add flour and vanilla; mix well. Stir in arare. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly. Bake 20 min or until golden brown. Makes 5 dozen cookies. From: Michael Loo Date: 02 Mar 98
