1 | lb | Ahi (yellowfin tuna) or aku |
(skipjack tuna) fillet | ||
1/2 | c | Soy sauce |
1 | ts | Sesame oil |
1/4 | c | Chopped onion |
1/4 | c | Chopped green onions |
1/2 | c | Chopped limu (seaweed) |
1/2 | ts | Minced ginger root |
2 | Hawaiian red peppers, seeded | |
And chopped |
Cut fish into 1/2-in cubes. In a bowl, combine fish with remaining ingredients; mix well. Chill before serving. Serves 6. I think you could reduce the soy sauce a bit (do, for example, thirdsies with, rice vinegar and mirin).
