Title: Moonlight Mellow Chocolate Cake

1 | pk | German chocolate cake mix |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/2 | ts | Nutmeg |
1 | c | Mashed potatoes -- cold |
1/2 | c | Butter or margarine -- |
Softened | ||
1/2 | c | Water |
3 | Eggs | |
1/2 | c | Nuts -- chopped |
GLAZE: | ||
1/2 | c | Semisweet chocolate chips |
1 | tb | Butter or margarine |
2 | tb | Milk |
1/2 | c | Powdered sugar |
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour a bundt pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, water and eggs at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool upright in pan 25 minutes; invert onto serving plate. Cool completely. In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips, butter and milk. Cook over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar until smooth. Add a few drops milk if needed. Drizzle over cooled cake.
