Title: Caramel Crisps

Yield: 1 Dozen

2cPillsbury's Best All Purpose flour
1/2tsSalt
1cFirmly packed brown sugar
1/2cButter, softened
1/3cShortening
1/2cAlmond paste
1tbMilk
1tsAlmond extract
  Sugar to sprinkle

Preheat oven to 350. In large mixer bowl combine all ingredients except granulated sugar. Blend well.

Roll out, half at a time, on floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool before removing from cookie sheets.
