Title: Grandma Goodlund's Potatis Korv (Potato Sausage)

2 | lb | Hamburger |
1 | lb | Pork sausage |
1 | lg | Onion, finely chopped |
1 | lb | Peeled, grated potatoe or |
Enough to equl 1/3 weight of | ||
First three ingredients | ||
1 | ts | Salt per pound of first 4 |
1/4 | ts | Pepper per lb of first 4 |
Sausage casings | ||
1/4 | ts | Garlic salt per lb (opt) |
1/4 | ts | Worcestshire Sauce/lb (opt) |
: Mix all ingredients together. Fill the casings, leaving room for expansion. Prick the casings frequently with a needle. Cut the casings in 22 inch lengths, tying each end in a knot. : Place the sausages in a pan of cold water, heat just to boiling point and simmer for 30 minutes. : To Serve: Cut the cooked Korv in 2 to 3 inch length and saute in butter.
