Title: Sugar Browned Potatoes (Denmark)

2 | lb | New potatoes |
1/4 | c | Butter |
1/3 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
3 | tb | Water |
Place unpeeled potatoes in salted water to cover. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and cook until tender 20 to 25 minutes; drain.
Cook and stir margarine, sugar and salt in 10 inch skillet over medium heat until mixture starts to turn golden brown. Watch carefully. Remove from heat, cool slightly. Carefully stir in water until blended. Add potatoes. Cook over low heat, turning potatoes to coat with sugar mixture.
