Few grains cayenne | ||
Salt | ||
1 | c | Thick white sauce |
1 | ts | Lemon juice |
1 | Egg, slightly beaten | |
Bread crumbs |
Combine white sauce, salmon, and lemon juice. Season to taste. Spread on plate to cool. Shape in balls, cones, or cylinders. Dip in crumbs, egg, and crumbs. Fry in deep fat (375 F) until golden brown. Drain on crumpled absorbent paper. Serve at once. 8 servings. The Household Searchlight
