Title: Smoked Salmon and Jicama Maki Sushi Rolls

From 2-cups dry measure; | ||

8 | Sheets nori; seaweed | |
1 | c | Smoked salmon strips |
1 | c | Jicama strips |
1 | c | Diakon sprouts |
1/4 | c | Gari |
OR pickled ginger; | ||
Julienned | ||
Wasabi oil; see recipe | ||
Soy syrup; see recipe |
Lay down nori on sushi mat and lightly pat on rice on bottom two-thirds of nori. (Note: or one-half and then when you roll, it spreads to about two-thirds). Place smoked salmon, jicama, daikon, gari and a touch of wasabi oil. Roll, moisten end and let rest.
(No mention of the soy syrup. I think it was used as condiment.-pat)
