Title: Salmon-Macaroni Casserole

1/4 | c | Butter or margarine |
3 | tb | All-purpose flour |
1 3/4 | c | Milk |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Garlic salt |
1/8 | ts | Pepper |

1 | c | Shredded Cheddar cheese |

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain well, and set aside. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Add salt, garlic salt, and pepper; stirring well. Combine sauce, reserved macaroni, cheeses, salmon, and eggs in a large bowl; stir well. Spoon salmon mixture into a greased rectangular baking dish. Combine breadcrumbs and 2 tablespoons melted butter; stir well. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture evenly over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
