13		Chillies
2	qt	Water
1/4	lb	Sugar
1	oz	Cream of tartar
1	ts	Lemon essence
2	tb	Yeast

Boil chillies in the water for 20 minutes; then pour over the sugar, stir till dissolved, add the lemon and yeast and a little cold water; bottle and cork closely.
