13 | Chillies | |
2 | qt | Water |
1/4 | lb | Sugar |
1 | oz | Cream of tartar |
1 | ts | Lemon essence |
2 | tb | Yeast |
Boil chillies in the water for 20 minutes; then pour over the sugar, stir till dissolved, add the lemon and yeast and a little cold water; bottle and cork closely.
