BARB DAY
1 1/4cApricots; halved/pitted
  Unpeeled or 16 oz canned
  Unpeeled/in juice
1/2cTequila
1/4cSugar
1/4cLime juice
1/4cApricot nectar
24 Ice cubes
  Lime juice
  Coarse salt

In a blender combine the apricots, tequila, sugar, lime juice and apricot nectar. Cover and blend till smooth. While blender is running, add the ice cubes, a few at a time, through the hole blending until slushy. Rub the rims of 8 stemmed glasses some lime juice, then invert into a shallow dish of coarse salt. Shake off any excess salt. Pour in the margarita mixture. Coolers: To make coolers prepare as above except increase the apricot nectar to 6 ounces and omit the tequila. From Barb Day's database
