Title: Frozen Orange Cups - Glorious Liqueurs

Yield: 8 Servings
8 | Navel oranges | |
3 | pt | Orange sorbet and/or vanilla |
Ice cream | ||
1/2 | c | Alize or orange liqueur |
Mint leaves, for garnish |
Cut a tiny sliver from the bottom of each orange so the will not wobble. Cut off top quarter from each orange. Scoop out flesh with a grapefruit spoon and a sharp knife. Reserve for another use. Rinse shells; pat dry with paper towels. Freeze tops and bottoms until firm.
Half fill shells with sorbet and/or ice cream. Drizzle 1 tablespoon liqueur into each; fill with remaining ice cream. Replace tops. Freeze until serving time.
At serving time, garnish with mint, if desires.
Note: Vary this recipe to suit your taste. Try chocolate ice cream and orange liqueur or lemon sorbet and Cherry Herring liqueur, for example.
