Title: Gingerette (Green and Gold)

2 | ts | Essence of lemon |
3 | ts | Essence of ginger |
3 | ts | Essence of citric acid |
1 1/4 | lb | Sugar |
1 | pt | Water; boiling |
Put all ingredients into a basin and pour on boiling water. Stir until all is dissolved, then bottle.
To serve: put 2 tablespoons of gingerette in a tumbler of water or soda water.
