1 Bottle
  Claret wine - 4/5-qt.

In slow-cooking pot, combine sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water. Stir until well blended. Pour in wine. Cover pot; heat on low 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Serve hot from the pot.
