4 | | Cinnamon sticks |
8 | | Cloves |
8 | | Allspice berries |
5 | c | Cold water |
8 | tb | Finely ground gourmet |
| | Coffee ( regular or |
| | Decaffinated ) |
1/2 | c | Sweetened whipped cream |
| | Ground cinnamon |
Place cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice berries into an 8-10 cup
carafe. Measure cold water into the coffee maker. Using ground coffee, brew
according to manufactures instructions. Allow coffee to steep for 15
minutes after brewing.
Strain into 8 ounce, warmed coffee mugs ( or into a thermos ). Garnish
with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. From The Top 100
