Title: Bacon 'n' Egg Cookies

Yield: 24 Servings
1 1/4 | c | Flour |
2/3 | c | Brown sugar |
1/2 | c | Grap-nuts Cereal |
1/2 | lb | Bacon, cook crisp, crumble |
1/2 | c | Shortening, melted* |
1 | lg | Egg, beaten |
2 | tb | Orange juice concentrate* |
1 | tb | Orange peel, grated |
Here is a complete breakfast of orange juice, cereal and bacon and eggs in a hearty, delightful cookie :)
*Can use solid shortening, butter or margarine. Use undiltued frozen o j concentrate, thawed. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cereal and bacon. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Drop by small spoonfulls onto an ungreased (see note below) cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
Note: Can use 1/3 C brown sugar with 1/4 C honey. Can use 1/2 C artificial bacon bits. If so, grease cookie sheet.
