18 1/2 | oz | Butter Brickel OR Butter Pecan cake mix |
1/2 | c | Graham cracker crumbs |
1/2 | c | Butter or ole; softened |
1 | | Egg |
8 | oz | Pkg. cream cheese; softened |
1/3 | c | Sugar |
4 | oz | Cool Whip; thawed |
1/4 | c | Pecans; chopped |
2 | tb | Maraschino cherries; chopped blotted dry |
1 | cn | (8 oz) Pineapple Tidbits; Drained, blotted dry |
2 | | Bananas; large, sliced |
1/4 | c | Semi sweet chocolate chips |
1 | tb | Butter or margarine |
In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix, cracker crumbs and butter. Beat on
low speed until crumbly. Beat in egg. Press into bottom of a 10 x 15" pan
treated with non stick spray. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden
brown. Cool COMPLETELY. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Gradually add sugar; blend well. Beat in whipped topping. Spread on cooled
crust. Arrange pecans, cherries, pineapple and bananas on top. Melt
chocolate chips and butter. Drizzle over top. Chill. Cut into squares to
serve. NOTE: Crust and filling can be made in advance and kept unti ready
to assemble. Cover crust, and keep at room temp. Store filling in fridge.
