Title: Brownie Pie

2 | oz | Chocolate, unsweetened |
2 | tb | Butter/margarine |
3 | x | Eggs |
3/4 | c | Syrup, corn |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | ts | Extract, vanilla |
Pastry shell, 9"; unbaked | ||
1/2 | c | Pecans; chopped |
Ice cream, vanilla; or | ||
Whipped cream; optional |
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter; cool slightly. In a bowl, beat eggs, corn syrup and sugar; stir in vanilla and the chocolate mixture. Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until top begins to crack and crust is golden brown. Cool. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired. Store in the refrigerator.
