Title: Cherry Chocolate Brownies

1/3	c	Butter or margarine
2	oz	Unsweetened chocolate
2		Eggs
3/4	c	Sugar
3/4	c	Flour (scant)
1/2	ts	Baking powder
1/4	ts	Salt
1	ts	Maraschino cherry juice
1/4	c	Maraschino cherries; chopped
1/2	c	Nuts; chopped

Melt butter and chocolate over hot water. Beat eggs well; add sugar gradually. Beat in chocolate mixture. Sift dry ingredients and mix in. Add cherry juice, cherries and nuts. Spread into greased 8- or 9-inch square pan. Cake at 350F for 25-30 minutes.
