Title: Chocolate Rum Balls

2 | c | Chocolate Cake Crumbs, Stale |
1 | tb | Butter -- melted |
1 | tb | Light Rum |
1 1/2 | tb | Rum Extract |
1 1/2 | tb | Light Corn Syrup (To 2 Tbs) |
1/3 | c | Chocolate Shots (To 1/2 Cup) |
1. In a medium bowl, combine cake crumbs, melted butter, rum, and rum extract. Mix well. Add 1 1/2 Tbs corn syrup and blend until mixture holds together. Add remaining 1/2 Tbs corn syrup if needed to bind. 2. Form into 8 or 9 (1 3/4-inch) balls by rolling mixture between palms of hands. Then roll balls in chocolate shots to coat completely. Store in a tightly covered container in refrigerator. Serve in paper candy cups. Note: Recipe may be doubled. From: Dan Klepach Date: 02-12-95 U/l to NCE by Burt Ford 3/98 untried.
