1 1/4 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Water |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
1 | tb | Rose water; OR |
1 | tb | Orange blossom water |
Add sugar to water and cook over medium heat until dissolved. Boil over high heat until temperature reaches 250 degrees F. Stir in lemon juice and flower water. Keep warm until use. Source: Los Angeles Times food section.
