2 | c | All-Purpose Flour |
1/2 | ts | Baking Soda |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
3/4 | c | Brown Sugar; packed |
1/2 | c | White Sugar |
3/4 | c | Salted Butter; softened |
2 | lg | Eggs |
2 | ts | Pure Vanilla Extract |
6 | oz | Shredded Unsweetened Coconut |
1 1/2 | c | Whole Macadamia Nuts |
Preheat oven to 300. In a med. bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well
w/ a wire whisk and set aside. In a lg. bowl blend sugars w/ an electric
mixer at med. speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Scrape down
sides of bowl, then add eggs and vanilla. Beat at med. speed until light
and fluffy. Add the flour mixture, coconut and macadamia nuts, and blend at
low speed just until combined. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoons
onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2" apart. Bake for 22-24 min. Immediately
transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool, flat surface. MRS. FIELD'S
