Title: Cocomia Cookies

2cAll-Purpose Flour
1/2tsBaking Soda
1/4tsSalt
3/4cBrown Sugar; packed
1/2cWhite Sugar
3/4cSalted Butter; softened
2lgEggs
2tsPure Vanilla Extract
6ozShredded Unsweetened Coconut
1 1/2cWhole Macadamia Nuts

Preheat oven to 300. In a med. bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well w/ a wire whisk and set aside. In a lg. bowl blend sugars w/ an electric mixer at med. speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Scrape down sides of bowl, then add eggs and vanilla. Beat at med. speed until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture, coconut and macadamia nuts, and blend at low speed just until combined. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2" apart. Bake for 22-24 min. Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula to a cool, flat surface. MRS. FIELD'S COOKIE BOOK
