Title: Coconut Apple Squares

1/2 | c | Butter |
1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/2 | c | Sifted flour |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 1/3 | c | Flaked coconut |
21 | oz | Apple Pie filling |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
1/2 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/4 | ts | Mace |
Beat softened butter, sugar, and vanilla. Sift flour and salt together and stir into creamed mixture. Add coconut; mix well. Put/pat half in a greased 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over coconut in pan. Top with remaining coconut mixture, pat lightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream. Randy Rigg
