Title: Creamy Fudge Silk Pie

1 | 9 inch baked pie shell | |
1 | c | Softened butter |
1 1/2 | c | Sugar |
4 | Squares unsweetened baking | |
Chocolate, melted and | ||
Cooled | ||
4 | Eggs | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
Cream butter and sugar in mixer. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time while beating. Beat 10 minutes; the longer you beat the silkier the consistency. Pour into pie shell. Chill at least 3 hours. Can be frozen, but thaw before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
