2 | c | Flour |
1 | Egg | |
1 | tb | Sugar |
Pinch salt | ||
1 | oz | Yeast |
1/2 | c | Water |
Combine all ingredients. Knead until smooth. Allow to rise for 1 hour. Roll out on lightly floured board to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with doughnut cutter or rim of glass. Fry in deep hot oil until brown, turning once. Drain on absorbent paper.
