1 | /3 c | molasses |
1 t | s vanilla extract | |

1 c | flour, all-purpose | |
1 c | quick-cooking oats | |
1 c | wheat flake cereal -- such | |

1 | /4 c | toasted wheat germ |
3 | /4 t | s baking soda |
1 | /2 c | dried cranberries |
1 | /2 c | dried apricot halves -- |

: | vegetable cooking spray |
Preheat oven to 350-degree.
Cream the sugar and margarine at medium speed of a mixer until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add molasses, vanilla, and egg; beat well. Combine flour, oats, cereal, wheat germ, and baking soda; stir well. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, beating well. Stir in the fruit. Drop the dough by level tablespoons onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake 10 minutes; let cool on pans 1 minute. Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
