Title: Fudge and Fudge Brownies

1 1/2 | oz | Semisweet chocolate |
2 1/2 | oz | Unsweetened chocolate |
8 | tb | Unsalted butter |
1 | c | Plus 2 tablespoons sugar |
3 | lg | Eggs |
7 | tb | All-purpose flour |
1/2 | c | Plus 2 tablespoons chopped |

Preheat oven to 325. Lightly grease 8 inch square pan with butter or vegetable oil. Melt semisweet and unsweetened chocolates with butter in double boiler and cool mixture 5 minutes. Place sugar in medium-size mixing bowl. Pour in chocolate mixture. With electric mixer on medium speed, add eggs, one at a time, and blend after each addition. Scrape bowl after last egg. Blend until velvety, about 15 seconds more. Add flour on low speed and mix for 20 seconds. Finish mixing by hand. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts and vanilla. Spread batter evenly in pan. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons nuts over top. Bake in center of oven until tester inserted in center comes out with a moist crumb, about 25 minutes. Allow brownies to cool 1 hour before cutting. Yield: 16 2-inch brownies
