Title: Honey Chocolate Chippers

Yield: 24 Cookies
1 | c | Honey |
1 | Egg yolk | |
2 | c | All-purpose flour |
1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | c | Chopped, toasted pecans |
1 | c | Butter; softened |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | c | Rolled oats |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | c | (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Beat honey and butter until creamy, but not fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir dry ingredients into wet mixture until thoroughly blended. Mix in pecans and chocolate chips. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with a spoon. Bake at 350ø F. for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tops are dry. Cool on wire racks.
