Title: Low Fat Bean Dip
Categories: Snack Lowfat
Yield: 1 3/4 cups

3tbLemon juice
15ozCan pinto beans, rinsed and
  Drained
3tbChopped green onion
2tbLow fat mayonnaise
1 1/2tsSeeded minced jalapeno
  Pepper OR to taste
1tsWorcestershire sauce
1/2tsSalt OR to taste
1/4tsSugar

Combine all ingredients in a blender of food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Use raw vegetables or tortilla chips for dipping.

Store in refrigerator.

Diabetic Exchange: Two tablespoon serving (made without salt) equals 1 vegetable, also 28 calories; 149 mg sodium, 0 chol; 5 gm carbo; 2 gm protein, trace fat.
